Dress: Forever21 Shoes: Aldo Bracelets: Florence, Italy
I am as minimalistic as they come. I used to love jewelry to the point where I went through phases collecting pieces of different jewelry to add to my collection. I had a bracelet phase in junior high, where I would wear every single bracelet I had collected on both of my arms. Or through high school, where I collected necklaces and wore a different one everyday. Once I hit the age of 18, everything changed. It started to irk me if I had too much jewelry on. I felt it weighing me down to the point where I couldn't handle wearing jewelry anymore. To me, one or two jewelry pieces on me are plenty enough to venture out into the world.
I'd rather wear meaningful pieces of jewelry. Like my engagement ring, or jewelry possessions I have gotten while traveling the world. What draws my eyes to these pictures are not of my outfit or shoes, they are of my favorite bracelets in the entire world. The bracelets I had bought on a sunny day in Florence, Italy while hanging out with my soon-to-be fiancé in May 2009.
